The next course begins on 14th October,2010. It is a fourteen week course finishing on 3rd February with a break over the Christmas period. Classes run from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on Thursday evenings. Course material will be handed out between 6.30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the first class. The cost is $295.00 and is inclusive of all the study material, and plotting/ navigation equipment that you will need. If you have any queries contact the Training Officer on 604.921.BOAT.

This course is designed for those interested in powerboats, sailing vessels or kayaks. Instruction provides in depth boat operation and safety training and the challenge of plotting and navigation.
Successful completion of the accredited mid-term examination will also allow you to receive your Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). Passing the final exam allows you the opportunity to join CPS (Canada’s largest association of recreational boating enthusiasts) and receive the benefits of membership, including potential favourable boat and home insurance discounts, hotel and car rental savings, savings on purchase of boating/nautical equipment and receipt of Canadian Yachting Magazine
